DAMN IT

ok, sometimes the Katrina news gets to be too much. i just can't watch/read it. But then I see a story and it absolutely infuriates me, so I have to say something. It's nothing about the looting/shooting SHIT that's going on (I don't think I have to mention how disgusted I am about that). It's about a local woman whose daughter is a nurse at a hospital in New Orleans. They're stuck in the hospital. Women there need C-Sections. They can't get them because there's no water for the doctors to scrub up in. And they have no way out. WHY DON'T THEY HAVE ANY WAY OUT????? I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO GET THEM OUT OF THERE.

i know, easier said than done. but i'm so DAMN mad about it. Get those people out of that hospital. Take them to a hospital in another town/state, etc. we have hospitals all over this country with people willing and able to help out.

I know, I know. help is on the way. I just hope it's not too little, too late.

and i also know there are a LOT of people to take care of. we're the United States damn it. figure it out.
