i'm so sleepy....

busy busy day today. got my weekly hydrating facial and surprised the owner with my extra ticket to see Keith Urban on Thursday. She was so excited! I figure they've been giving me free facials every week since June, I could do something nice for her! (Plus there was no one else...that i know of anyway...that could go with me.) They are so nice there...it'll be fun. I also met the hair lady, Molly, while getting my facial. She's friends w/the owner's sister. So now the owner and I are both getting our hair done by molly this week. I've never had my hair colored professionally...i have a bad, bad feeling this is going to be so addicting! Its also been a really long time since i've had a good haircut. here we go! going in early friday morning, so everyone at work can see it, then i'll have it when dave and i go out to see Jerry Seinfeld that night. cuz lord knows I won't be able to style it the next day, so gotta let people see it while it's still nice.

also went to see my niece play soccer..it was too cute. she was so nervous to play goalie tonight, but she did pretty good. got 2 saves...unfortunately got scored on twice too. but at least she has experience now, and isn't afraid.

after that we went to dave's sister's house to fix her computer. they have 3 daughters who use the thing all the time, so dave spent a lot of time trying to get rid of the crap. spyware and stuff. we were there 1 1/2 hours, and it's not completely done yet, but i had to get home so i could go to work. while we were there, i played whac-a-mole and life with his 7 year old niece. the game of life sure has changed since i was a kid! i thought you got paid (as in gifts) by the other players when you got married and had a baby. now you get a "life tile" that gives you more money at the end, and you get an extra spin. i had to keep looking up the directions...it wasn't easy. and i got beat by a 7 year old. hey, i chose the college way. and i got a salary $50K under what she was making going straight to career. it was funny though...i got the "Artist" career, and my salary on my card matched the one on my paycheck.

then i went to the drive thru on my way to work tonight. first, the exit i take off the highway was closed, so i had to go to the next one and backtrack. then i ordered chicken nuggets with hot mustard sauce and a side salad with italian dressing. i got no sauce and ranch dressing. i went back in and asked for the correct stuff. then she almost gave me french dressing. come on...i worked at in fast food when i was FOURTEEN. i know it's not that hard!

so now here i am, catching up on my blog reading. can't wait for tomorrow so i can do more cleaning of the house. maybe i mentioned it before...we have over 25 people coming over on sunday. yikes!
