friends rule

my friends rock. i was at work, and was having a pretty crappy day. everything was making me want to cry and/or scream. i was in a pretty bad mood. then Babe called and requested Def Leppard. She does that so I know it's her. See, no one else would call and ask me that. I work at a country station. She doesn't "do" country music, but her husband (well, he will be in TWO WEEKS anyway) was flipping stations and she heard me and decided to listen. I'm glad she called. Then I got a call from a guy asking me to play that "itchy twitchy song". Right away I knew it was Mike. I haven't talked to him in a while, so it was nice to hear from him. (again, i knew it was him from the song he requested. he always refers to it as the itchy twitchy song. he's referring to Achy Breaky Heart, which he knows I won't play!) Mike also doesn't listen to country, but it happened to be on at work so he called. I'm glad. I'm in a much better mood now. Thanks guys!!!

Update: Gertie called too. She listens more than Babe and Mike, but today she called to say "Hi". Now she's on the list...she didn't even know a list existed. My day is MUCH better because of my friends.
