i wish i had images of these. you'll just have to believe...these are on billboards for a local radio station. they're telling us who they play, and being VERY creative with it. in my opinion anyway.

It's just about Friday. thank GOD! My wonderful friend Babe is getting married on Saturday. I'm looking forward to a good party! You can't go wrong with music, food, dancing, and beer. Oh, and the commitment to love each other for all eternity. I'm gettin' my hair done w/the girls saturday morning at 10am. i'm reading in the wedding, so i gotta look nice. plus, the more of us who get our hair done, the better chance she doesn't have to pay for hers. that rules!

i saw a woman in the store today...she was an older woman, and she looked like she just emerged from her bomb shelter shes kept herself in since the '80s. She had on blue stirrup pants, blue sandals (one thick strap across the top kind, so you could SEE the stirrups), a blue poncho, and she had this perm....i don't know if i can even describe the perm. it's not the type that cascades down, but a tight perm that looks like it has enough product in it to keep it that way for a week. as soon as i saw her, i thought "I've GOT to blog about this!" oh, i also thought "I used to wear those pants...."

enough of that. i had a GOOD experience at a store tonight. usually we wait in line forever and then something happens to their register. tonight, there was noone in front of me, and the check reader thingy actually read the numbers on my check. the lady said to me "Whew! it wouldn't read the numbers on the last persons check!" Normally, that's what happens to ME! I was very pleased, and am almost ready to put this store back on my "good" list. (have you ever boycotted a store because every time you go there, it's a bad experience?)

Well, that's all i've got for now. Gonna go heat up my lean cuisine and do a bit of reading.
