
ok, so that's not true. i know i'm unorganized. but i'm working on it. tonight i decided to start with my cookbooks. i have a rubbermaid tote full of cookbooks, magazines, printed pages, etc. that is too heavy for me to carry. i had to pull it down the steps to the couch and start my organization. oh god, what the hell did i start? i have a lot of books, and i started microsoft excel database of the books i have (including those little magazine-ish things you get at the grocery store register display thingy), and then i pulled out all the loose recipes that don't have a book. i decided to make a blog of all the recipes, and i'll link to them in an excel spreadsheet. holy crap. i've done 64 recipes so far, and it's not even a dent. it'll all be worth it in the end, right? see, i have so many recipes, and i never use them. i always look online for a new one. this way, if i have them all in one place, it's easier to know what i already have. yeah...we'll see how that one works for me. if i even finish this little project of mine.
