What a fun time for kids! I took my 4 year old niece on Friday, and it was cool. They get the kids involved by having them sing and shake their dragon tale. She had a good time. I got her some Dragon Tales Binoculars, and she wanted everything else they were offering. It's amazing what a 4 year old thinks a dollar can buy!
Then Saturday night I took a friend to see JoDee Messina in concert. She's great. I've seen her a few times, and this was her most subdued concert, but it was also a much smaller venue. She spent a lot of time entertaining the crowd with conversation and stories, and I like that. Yes, I love the music, but if that's all I wanted, I'd listen to the CD. It's nice when they get personal with the crowd.
All in all, a good weekend. Today--relaxing, watching some football, grocery shopping...not too bad for a rainy sunday!
