a baby and a ladybug

I got a call from Sarah this morning, the new mom. I, of course, missed it. I called back, but she didn't answer, so I listened to my voicemail. Ladybugs mean a LOT to me because of a friend I lost a few years ago. The voicemail from her said "we saw a ladybug and thought we better call aunt kari" and i just cried. i am so excited for her to finally have her baby after going through so much to become a mom...them seeing a ladybug and thinking of me made me feel like i'm there with them. i wish i was. partially because it's sunny and 80 in texas. it's 21 and snowing here.
