I'm IN!

I've been at my job 3 years now. I've worked in the business 6+ years. (not long in the grand scheme of things, really). So, today I got an invitation to the 2006 Business Women's Expo. It's a luncheon and all-day event with business women from the area. A chance to "network", I guess you could say. It's the first time since getting in the business that an invitation like this has come to me in the mail with my name on it. Not the sort where the boss says "this is going on, you should go." An actual letter, addressed to me. It means my name is out there, and that is SO cool. It feels really good. It's February 9th. I'll be in Texas. DAMMIT!!! Hopefully it just means there will be more invites in the future!
