There's a bird in there!
We did some yard work this afternoon, and when we were finished, I looked up from under the deck and saw a bird's nest. Lo and behold, there were birdies in there!
I went up on the deck and looked down and saw that there were actually a few in there. I couldn't get pics of them all, because I was looking through the slats in the deck.

I have friends who hate having birds build nests in their deck because then they have to deal with the bird poop. I think it's nice to have them around.
