I was getting ready this morning and heard the ad on television for this REAL DIAMOND RING FOR ONLY $19.95.
I checked out the website to see what it said. "Real 1/2 Point Diamond". That's not 1/2 Carat. That's a half POINT. There are 100 points in a carat. Which means this is 1/2 of 1/100 of a carat. 1/200 of a carat for only $19.95. WHAT A DEAL!

So, before taxes, a carat's worth of those rings would cost you $3990. And using Wisconsin sales tax (Dane County to be exact: I think a couple counties still only use 5%), that's actually $4209.45. I can't believe you didn't buy one! Or hell, 200 of them!
Yeah, I think a regular jewelry store is the way to go. ;)
I get real diamonds on my cutting blades from time to time. Just cuz it's a carbon crystal doesn't make it jewelry.
