1pm Thursday, checking the weather/flights just before leaving for the airport.
Flight from Madison to Milwaukee: CANCELLED.
WHAT? My flight was "on time" an hour ago (i'd been checking for hours) and now it's CANECLLED?
I get to the airport and walk up to the counter. Lady says "Are you on the 2:20 flight?" and I said "Yes." She said "Go to door 7, there's a cab waiting." Holy crap people, you're sending me on a cab to Milwaukee?
Yes. That is what I did. And then I sat at Milwaukee for an extra hour, because the flight from there to Dallas, scheduled to leave at 3:50, finally boarded around 5pm.
I hope my flight home is a little smoother.
Oh, and the weather here? There was a tornado warning Friday night.
