WTF? that's the best I can come up with. They previewed this episode as a "2 hour event" and I'm pretty sure they said it would be something "you can't miss". If you did, you weren't really missing anything.
Addison is getting a spinoff, and they shoved it into last nights episode of Grey's. From what I have read, people aren't thrilled, and were upset that it wasn't very much of a Grey's episode. It was Addison at this place in LA that is a co-op. Multiple doctors, doing multiple things. And a young guy at the front desk who likes to go surfing at lunch time.
Taye Diggs and Tim Daly are a couple of the "stars".
She heroically saves a woman giving birth to what she thought was another woman's baby (surrogate) but turns out to be her own. She got implanted, had sex with 3 guys, and the implant didn't take. No one knows who the father is yet. Could be the husband of the woman she was going to be a surrogate for, the ex-husband of that woman, or the man he left her for. (I think I got that straight...)
Then there was the mysterious lady talking to Addison in the elevator...and the kiss in the stairwell.
In between we saw a few shots of Seattle Grace. Meredith's step mom came in with non-stop hiccupping. She had a couple procedures. Thatcher thought she was making it up so Meredith would spend time with him. She had complications, and ended up dying. Meredith's dad slapped her and said "she trusted you!"
cristina's and burke's moms came to help plan the wedding. cristina "asked" callie to be a bridesmaid, as well as izzie and meredith. things looked like they might be going ok between callie and izzie, until izzie and george kissed in the elevator. moments later, the door opened and there was callie, completely blind to what is obviously still going on.
ok, it sucks, i know. i'm not much of a recapper. but last night...well, it wasn't much of a show. i hope next week is back to normal. there are only 2 episodes left of the season. as for addison's spinoff? i doubt it.

I was really annoyed that most of the show was leading up to Addison's spin off.
While I really like Taye Diggs and I like Tim Daley, I WILL NOT watch that show. It looks ridiculous.
I was really annoyed that they didn't have a lot of SG stuff.
Susan died and Meredith's dad slapped her??? COME ON! That deserves more than the last 2 seconds.
And George and Izzie... kissing!!! in the elevator.

(you should have seen the notes i took when i had to recap an episode of Big Brother for the morning show of my former radio station...OMG, it was ridiculous!)
TC,it was the ONLY episode I can remember that I didn't LOVE. Of all the episodes, that's pretty good!
I watched this on the rerun Friday... it was quite disappointing.
Addison's show? Not original. Not going to last. I don't even know if I hope I'm wrong.
George and Izzie... what the hell is going on? Never thought Izzie was going to be a mistress, and I never thought George was going to be a cheating whore. (Although, the writers play it off as if neither of those are the truth... but George is married!).
Let's hope the final two weeks are good enough to make up for this 2 hour nonsense.

And they're making me really hate Izzy and George! UGH! I can see it now...Izzy will end up knocked up or something and Callie will have to find out like that. Awful.
I agree Amy about Izzy ending up knocked up, in fact when they had to do that bone marrow thingy for her daugther that she gave up for adoption, I thought it would then.
I am starting like Burke and Christina more! McDreamy and Mer are getting Sooooo boring. I love McSteamy! And I like the new show...I must be the ONLY one! I am sure it has to do with how hot I think Tim Daly is. And that kiss he gave Addison in the stairs..OMG! :)
