I wouldn't trade my situation for anything. I don't have to get up and go to work every day. I get to stay home and take care of my son. And my husband never gets upset when the house isn't clean and the laundry isn't done. Because who has time for that? Yes, all Zander does right now is eat and sleep. But sometimes it takes so much effort to feed him and get him to sleep that I have no energy to do anything except catch up on my reading (blogs, Every Day with Rachael Ray, etc) and nap (HA! right!) Oh wait...it's easy to get him to sleep. On a pillow in our bed. In his bed? Not so much.
So my house is a mess and laundry really needs to get done. And eventually it will. When my husband is home and can take care of the baby.
So no, I wouldn't trade my situation for anything.
Except maybe some adult conversation once in a while! (Right now I'll take any conversation, since Z isn't even talking baby-talk to me yet!)

What time are we meeting Saturday morning? :)
Hang in there...you are almost over the hump and then it will get soooo much better and you will be saying what am I going to do while he is sleeping all the time :)
...13days left here...yeah!!
I had my child while living in suburbia-hell with no car and no nearby friends. My husband would leave for work and I'd spend the day with only an infant & internet for company. After a month of this, I started conversing with Dog the Bounty Hunter on A&E.
That's when I knew it was time to move. New house, new neighbourhood, good old sanity. Hurray! Who knew, adult conversation are so very very very important!
