I had a Tastefully Simple party last night, and when I was mentioning what forms of payment I accept, my sister-in-law said "Do you take rubber checks?" And I said "Well, I did. About a month ago." One of the women said "Really? Who does that anymore?"
A woman in her 30s. With 3 jobs, and a husband who has 2 jobs. She told me "My bank screwed up." even though I talked to someone else she wrote a bad check to, who said it has happened a few times.
I just can't imagine. I'm going to pick up the CASH from her today.
What are the chances she "left it at home" or "didn't get to cash" her check?
I'll let you know!
I had to follow her to the tyme machine (we were at the mall so it was ok). i got nervous, because it was taking a while. But lo-and-behold, she presented me with CASH! I was SHOCKED!!!
Oh, and then she told me "We're buying a new house!" As if the bank that she bounces all her checks at is going to give her a loan for a house....
