don't ever push a button on your cell phone at 230am and wonder "what does this do?" because chances are, if you have the Audiovox phone that i have, and you push and hold the # key, it will LOCK your phone. and to unlock it, you must have a code. oh shit. i never set a code to unlock my phone, because i didn't know how to lock it in the first place. the only thing you can do while this phone is locked is send a text message and receive a call. well that doesn't help, because i have to call dave after my interview so we can go to lunch. thankfully, ben came to my studio when i was fretting. i tried "1111" and "9999" and all sorts of other number combinations. i tried taking out the battery, to no avail. he said those magic words: "Google it!" so i did. still couldn't find it. hmpf. this sucks. then, he rescued me. "how about the last 4 numbers of your phone number?" Voila! It works! THANK GOD! i don't know how i'd survive not being able to call anyone on my cell phone!
