Lost

no, i'm not. haven't been in a while. wish i was!

i'm speaking of the show. it's great! i've watched the first 8 episodes in the last 2 days. i'm addicted. i will have 4 more episodes waiting in my mailbox when i wake up this afternoon! (if not, i may shoot the mailman!) i'm already picking my favorite characters. i do not like Shannon. well, maybe she's just misunderstood! i'll have to wait and see. i do like Sun. looks like she's getting some courage with her jackass of a husband. Of course I like Jack (oh Charlie Salinger!), and Kate is cute. I'm waiting to see what she did. I've been told I might wait for a while. Charlie is cool...Dominic Monaghan (the guy that plays him) really could be a rock star! he's got that look! And of course Hurley...so funny! Locke was the dad in a favorite movie of mine (The Cutting Edge), but he's much nicer as Locke! Anyway, I'm anxiously awaiting disc 3. and, of course, september 21 when season 2 starts!

i felt SO handy tonight. i put up the 2nd (and final) towel bar in the bathroom by myself. i put a few unncessary holes in the wall, but i got it done. woo hoo! it's absolutely amazing what happens when you read directions. i also cleaned the oven (ok, so it was self-clean) and ran the dishwasher. all this while watching Lost. i love convenience. (i put the towel bar up in between episodes!)

now i'm wishing i could get lost. literally. get away for a couple days. with dave, of course. but that's not going to happen any time soon. damn birthdays! (speaking of which, my friend sarah will be 30 on the 15th. that means i'm soon to follow. yikes!!!)
