had to wait for the cable guy today. we have one service for cable, internet and phone. the internet had been out since sunday, the phone was sporadic. he was to be there "around 1". so at 3:20, dave called. oh no...he'll be there "between 3 and 5". dammit! why is it so difficult to tell us what's really happening? on sunday the guy said "someone will call you tomorrow" (meaning Labor Day). well, we called monday and the person we talked to then said "No, there's no one in the field today. the person was lying to you." great.
we rented Season 1 Disc 1 of Lost today. (it was on "short wait" on Netflix, so we went to blockbuster). what a show! i hadn't watched it when it was on, but Dave did. he wanted a refresher and I wanted to check out the hype...great show so far! we'll get disc 2 from netflix later today!
speaking of television...i checked out the new fall schedule. i'm going to have to quit my job just to keep up with all of them. yikes! (if only it was that easy).
