rambles

so, i changed email addresses. simple enough, right? not so much. it would have been easier years ago when not every single bill i pay was done online. so i have to go to each account and figure out how to change it. then i have to send an email to all my "important" contacts, to make sure they get the news. (If you didn't get the news, I don't have your email address!) Well that should have been simple as well. But i checked "all" contacts, and forgot to "Uncheck" those I don't speak to anymore and forgot to take out of my address book. I'm sure my "friend" will wonder why the hell she's getting an email from me. Hopefully she'll know enough to delete it. Cuz I surely don't want to hear back from her.

i'm on the season finale of lost. yes, 20 episodes in 10 days. I can't help it. i'm not addicted, I'm obsessed. we have about 30ish minutes left to watch. Then the new season starts Wednesday. I can't wait!!! (well i can, because i have to!)

my cuz recently moved to NC, and reports that they only got a bit of rain and some wind. nothing serious, thankfully. she's 9 months pregnant and her husband is out of town (in the military...not sure where he is) til the 28th. She's due the 25th. Hopefully the little one will wait at least until my aunt can make it to NC next week. my cuz, she's a tough cookie. she drove from Alaska to Wisconsin in July (7 months pregnant!) because they were moving to NC. Thankfully she was able to stop at my wedding on the way. She's "supposed" to have a boy. She doesn't know what it is, but we need a boy on that side of the family. My mom has 3 sisters. of the 4 of them, the have 7 kids, and only 2 boys. each of those boys has 2 daughters. so out of 15 of us, there are 2 boys. the fam's wantin' for a boy!!!

all aboard...another friend has joined the blogger train. i signed up, then dave. then 2 of dave's friends and now 3 of mine. it's fun being the leader! :o) i've also started getting more traffic on my blog, which is kind of cool. it's why i'm here!

i get to see Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert next week. woo hoo! they're coming to town, and i actually get to enjoy the entire show. a lot of times i have to leave a concert early to get to work (thankfully it's free for me...a definite perk of the job!), but the night of the concert I don't have to work because I'm filling in on a different shift on Friday. Yee Haw!

What is it with the word Holla? Is it even a word? My 7 year old niece knows all the words to Hollaback Girl. That shocked me. I know she knows "Redneck Woman" by Gretchen Wilson, but Hollaback Girl? Strange! The word is everywhere though. So far, it isn't one that's made it to my "most annoying things I say way too often" list. Yet. Like "Jackass" or "are you kidding me?" yes, i know, they get annoying. sorry.
