Over already?

Holy cow. It's been a whirlwind couple of days, and now it's all over. We did pretty good. I got dave one of these and we tried it out on Friday night. Yum! Had christmas w/his family saturday night and got a gift card for here. Saturday was my family christmas, and we got a gift card for here, here, here, and another one for here. All-in-all, a VERY good christmas. Very few "why did you get me THIS?" gifts, and lots of good food. including eggs & bacon, lasagna, turkey, ham (twice)...plus some brandy slushes, a little wine, and good times. We got my niece this desk:

it was in it's box, wrapped up, and we convinced her it was really a new cage for the dog. She was opening it so slowly, as if saying "Why do I have to open this? Where are my presents?" When she saw the picture of the desk, she screamed and started tearing off the paper in a frenzy. It was probably my favorite moment of christmas!
