That's hot

Yesterday I decided to make homemade Tomato Soup. Yes, I know they sell it in cans, but I wanted to try something different. It's SUPER easy to make, if you know how to handle a blender. I thought I did. Then, after pouring about 2 cups of HOT soup (right off the stove hot) into it, blending it a bit, and twisting the jar off the blender instead of just pulling...hot soup went EVERYWHERE. including all over my had. HOLY CRAP that's hot. Well I got it all cleaned up , changed my clothes, and finished blending. It's good stuff...not sure if it was worth the burn, but at least i learned how to work my blender.

went to a tastefully simple party at Gertie's last night. Babe rode with me, thank god, cuz there was a bunch of traffic and I needed something to occupy my mind other than road rage. I love Tastefully Simple...but why is it that the less money one has, the more stuff one wants to buy? Damn. Now I'm having my own party so I can get more stuff. Yippee.

Today is work, working out, and more work. Well, a concert isn't really "work", but it's my job, and somebody's gotta do it! Tomorrow we're takin' a trip to Lowes and checking out their bathroom stuff. The tile is ordered, we just have to find everything else!!! Woo!
