The left side of the floor is where we were trying to take up the layer of vinyl. The bottom right is where we decided to just bring up the wood instead! It's MUCH easier that way! We'll be done in no time! And then we will get to start ripping up carpet! Woo hoo!

gertie-thanks! neither of us have done this kind of thing before! we're pretty happy. now, if we only knew how to put things together...
I guess this means if I don't get off my ass and get some focus you guys will have your flooring project done while I'm still pecking away at my living room.
P.s. - If you can find the time, I think you should just come down for lunch tomorrow - we're having a lot more than just jambalaya.
