Worth the wait?

Remember my Doctor's Appointment that wasn't last week? I rescheduled it for today. I was a little leery about it. I didn't want a repeat performance. So, when the clerk was very nice to me, things looked good. And holy crap, it's not even 3 (appointment time) and they're already calling me back. (To catch you up, this is my 3rd attempt at an appointment after waiting a month because of a new doctor). So I get my blood pressure taken, and then it comes. "The doctor is running about 15 minutes late." Oh great. So they get me in there and THEN tell me. Now I can't just walk out. So I wait. And I wait. At 3:30, I'm SO pissed off. I'm calling my mom, calling Dave...just venting. The nurse comes in about 3:35 (35 minutes late; 20 minutes later than she said she was running initially) and said "she'll be in any minute!" Thankfully I only had to wait a few more minutes. I finally met my doctor, and I'm REALLY glad I did. She was VERY helpful and informative. She explained things a lot better than the last doctor I saw. And she's looking towards the future and letting me know what will occur down the road.

Worth the wait? Abso-frickin'-lutely!

You must have a better health plan than I do. If my dr gets to me within an hour of the appointment time, I consider myself lucky. (but I'm firm - if they don't show up for 3 hours, I reschedule!)
