What a day!
Today was fabulous. We got on the bus about 9:30 and headed to Lambeau Field. The driver seemed lost a couple times, but she got us there. She dropped us off at Brett Favre's Steakhouse, and we walked to Lambeau. We sat down about an hour before kickoff and just watched the crowd grow. It's cool to see the place just fill up as game time gets closer. And if you paid attention at all to the game, you saw that the Packers played pretty dang well today. And it was a beautiful day for a football game. We were actually OVER dressed. By the 4th quarter I'd taken my coat off and was watching the game in a t-shirt and jeans. It was mid-high 50's during the game. That's HOT for northern Wisconsin at the end of October! And the sun was shining all day...I got more of a sun burn today than I did all summer long. After the Packers won, we hit the bus and headed back to the hotel to get our car. We had plans to stop at Uno Chicago Grill across the street from our hotel, but apparently the sign is up but the restaurant is not. So, we hit the road and found a place called BJ Clancy's and as luck would have it, you get a free dinner on your birthday! We were in business! We had dinner and hit the road again. We had an uneventful drive home, and now are relaxing. All in all, a great weekend. And I'm pretty sure my husband was a happy man! He got to check off all the boxes on his sign!!!

Sounds like a great time!
Badger and Packer wins in the same weekend? And you were at both games?!?! Hello!
Very Cool!! You are a great wife! We did that for our first wedding anniversary...Monday night game against the Eagle's. Unfortunately it was cold, rainy and they lost in the last 28 seconds! But we still enjoyed Lambeau! I would recommend going to a Packer/Bear game in Chicago too. But you will probably have to wait until the Bears are crappy again (shouldn't take real long). It is a good time!
