Whew!

The wait is over. I can finally talk about my husband's birthday. It's not actually til tomorrow (Sunday), but because of the gift, I had to give it to him early.
So, to start, we spent Saturday at the Badger game and sat in front of THE most annoying kid in the entire universe. Seriously.
We left the game (Badgers beat Illinois 30-24) and headed north. We went to dinner in Appleton at Hu-Hot (Hu Hot? You hot!). It's a Mongolian BBQ, and some EXCELLENT food. While we were there, I handed him his present.

Yep, two tickets to see the Packers play at Historic Lambeau Field ON HIS BIRTHDAY.

And then I made him this for at the game (look for us on TV!):

We're expecting Favre to throw his 406th touchdown pass and for the pack to win, so we can put check marks in those boxes.

So there you have it. We are staying tonight (Sat.) in Appleton, riding a bus to the game, spending Sunday at Lambeau, and taking a bus back to the hotel. We'll probably go to dinner Sunday evening in this area, and then we'll head home. Monday is breakfast with his parents at Pancake Cafe, and a new satellite dish from DirecTV because they gave us the wrong one to start with.

SO, there you have it. GO PACK!

I'd love to see The Pack play at Lambeau, although I'd much rather be there in September than at the end of October. My team will be finishing 4th in the North AGAIN so I'll be pulling for Farve.

I'd say that won you "wife of the year!"

(OK, I'll pretend that I give a damn about football, and the Packers long enough to leave a comment...)

Ya' know, maybe if they'd cut back a teensy bit on all the frills on those damn tickets, they wouldn't cost 54.00 freaking dollars apiece!!! I'm just sayin'...
