Us "temps" got this email this morning:
It was just brought to my attention this morning, per our Facility Manager, that only "COMPANY" employees are allowed access cards to the building, which are the one's I handed out a couple weeks ago. Please put a yellow sticky with your name on the card and turn it in to me by the end of the day today. I apologize! If you need access into the building before 7am, or weekends, please see your manager.
This just kind of makes me sick. I start at 7am. Apparently they want me to be late every day. I said it before, I'm not changing my hours. If you can't "trust" us enough to have access access to the building during "off" hours...that's just too bad.
can you tell i'm not very HAPPY here?

What'd your manager say? I mean, I'm sure they are willing to make exceptions, right?
no exceptions. so i just show up late. hey, it gave me time to get breakfast this morning!
If they're giving you permission to be late every day, I'd run with it!
