most people at my job have 1 specialty. that, or they are a boss that oversees a team. and they get paid as such.
me...i still (after over a month) do "whatever". i work with 2 different departments, doing two totally different things. and you know what? most of the time that "work" consists of waiting for someone to give me something to do. and the chances of me knowing how to do said "work" without asking a billion questions is unlikely.
i'm really starting to wonder if i should be here full-time, if at all. it's making me crazy, and that's not good for anyone. i got chewed out yesterday for not finishing a report before i left monday. HELLO. NO ONE TOLD ME IT WAS PRIORITY. i was told i might need to change my hours because it needs to be done every day. (btw, yesterday's report came "late last night", so i couldn't do it until this morning anyway. good thing i didn't stay late waiting for it!)
i am not changing my hours. no thanks. i chose to work 7-330, i told you that my first week here, and if that's a problem, find someone else. because i'm completely willing to find a job where i actually work. (yesterday, for example: by noon, i had done about 10 minutes worth of work).
sorry...i'm a little irritated.
